While doing so, I was struck with a question – whether to use Merry Christmas or Happy Holidays. The dilemma stems from the possibility that the blog author is non-Christian and may be offended by such a greeting. As a general rule, I used Happy Holidays unless I saw the word Christmas in any of the posts.

There’s also this article I’ve read somewhere saying that a US law was passed changing the holiday name from Merry Christmas to Happy Holidays. Correct me if I’m wrong because I’m not American. A friend in the US told me that these two greetings are used interchangeably. And so I did a little research. Apparently Happy Holidays is used as a greeting for all winter holidays including Thanksgiving and New Year. That makes Merry Christmas the more appropriate term.

It  isn’t really important which greeting you use as long as the true meaning of the season is there – giving, sharing and loving.Read More:

Another year is ahead of me. Time is going too fast. Looking back, I can’t see anything fruitful I’ve accomplished in the past year. Well, not really. First off, I started my beloved Warcraft blog in September which really got me into blogging. It’s fun to see other people reading what you’ve written. It gives you a sense of accomplishment. Second… Meh, I’m just lazy to do things. Either that or I’m just good at start. I realized that I have this trait a long time ago; good at starting things but doesn’t really finish anything.

One of my top priorities this year is this blog. It should be. I have this domain for almost a month now and I haven’t used it extensively. I already have plans for other blogs and yet I haven’t finished my personal blog. It took me a long time to customize the layout and colors because I’m quite picky. I want every detail to my liking. I will try to post regularly.
